    Who is Mr Grumpy then?

Russell Brand is the biggest waste of space on TV!! To the honest, I would rather join this weird couponing group than sit and watch one of his shows - his jokes are not even remotely funny. TV is pretty diabolical - but it will get better as we all get older, and develop demntia - where all...

    idle problems or ecu problems

First things first, do you have read only software? Many mainstream are just code readers. They will tell you what it is, so you can take it to a garage. If so, would explain why you cannot turn the light off, only see why it is on.

    idle problems or ecu problems

Please tell me you disconnected the battery before unplugging the ecu?? Open Bonnet Close all doors, take key out of ignition Wait until it goes to sleep (20-30 mins) Disconnect battery. Leave for 2-6 hours. It SHOULDN'T remember the fault. If it comes up again, it may have spiked the ECU...

I like the look of this - except the price

QD32 IIRC. No problems finding parts, they are the same engine as fitted to the Elgrand, Cabstar, and Navara 3.2 parts are available fairly easily!:thumbs They are also the engine that powers airport tugs, and fork lifts. In effect, it has replaced the old SD33 in respect of what it powers.

    eurovision

You cannot compare! Jedward are in a league of their own. Maybe you could sue them for a few million - say that their hairstyles are representative of your image, and they are using it without permission:thumbs

snapped top bolt on rear shock mount !!!!!

Yeah, Whack a pic up - usually it is the thread on the shock that snaps, has a square end to hold with an 8mm spanner, whilst you do up the bigger nut below, that holds the shock in place. If the chassis mounting bracket has snapped, it will need welding. If the shock thread has snapped - and...

    Interior Dash Clock

The circuitboard won't melt - but you will need the needle point on the soldering iron! Cheats way is to heat the legs and the heat will tranfer down. Most of the time, you would just trace the footing on the rear of the borad. Do not force it, allow it to come off with as little pressure as...

    Its tyre time again

Maxxis Bravos/Mudders/Trepadors - they are from 60-90 a corner, last and grip as well as BFG's, in fact better in the wet! Tried and tested! Great for road, rock, mud.

Oh no! Not them....is it just me, or does anyone else see the irony that their hairstyles look like two short planks?

    im back

Glad you are feeling better - i'm new, so forgive my ignorance on your ailment. I can sympathise though, as I had a spinal injury a few years back that left me paralysed for a while, and the road back to normality was, and still is, very hit and miss! Keep on fighting!:thumb2

    Invertor Efficiency

If you tv is an LCD, and below 19" it SHOULD be 12v - have a check on the back! Your mains will come with a transformer box half way down it? The amperor will plug into the back of the TV, where your current power lead plugs in through the jack plug. (same as lap top ) Here is the best place...

    Invertor Efficiency

I will try to make it a little simple without going into sine waves etc. When you were trying your friends TV from a 12v source, it would power up, but not have a stable power supply - so would not work 100%. Sometimes, you will get pic and no sound, other times the other way round. The 12v...

    Charging leisure battery from car

Totally agree! This is why we have to run on the 'safe side' as we are hiring ours to people that are used to leaving the TV on all day in the background, leaving lights on etc, and leaving the power on when they are not using it. One thing about camping - you soon notice how much water you...

    Rear Bump stops

Clean both surfaces, and bond back together. The above Tiger seal, or a resin. They were stuck that way first time round, they can stick like it again!

snapped top bolt on rear shock mount !!!!!

Milners are around £31 for shocks. Not really worth repairing, at look on the bright side - at least they will be new!
