Again from memory, it drains out on top of the gearbox. Look for a hose low down the bulkhead. I'd run some water in to see if some comes out the drain or into the car before you strip it. You need to take wipers, grill and plastic trim off and its a pain due to the plastic clips Hope this...

If I remember right there is also a drain that chokes where the water drains from the grill at the wipers and water can come in through the heater.
