This but was horrible to weld. My welding helmet was too bit in the arch to aloow me to see the joints, im workin on a drive with a bit of slope so cant lift the car any higher. Had to line the torch up, move my face out of harms way the tack.

While down here it was a good time to scrap all the loose bits off the body mount and check its condition. Was solid under the surface crust. So I gave it a nice lick of metal paint.

Its a relief when shiny stuff appears again

The rot kept appearing so I kept cutting.

Chopping out down towards the body mount and back end of the sill. Previous attempted repairs crumbled uder the pressure :D
