try a bit of easy start in air intake they seem to have this fault if battery goes dead i have had the same problem on few terranos in the past and done this and once started never played up again hope it helps

For Sale is my 2003 2.7 lwb terrano mot till august new mid and rear exhaust and recent new tyres leak off pipes was a cat c when i bought but had been repaired 79000 miles radio lcd fault as common 6 disc changer tow bar etc

i thought it was something like that but good they mention it as most would just not bother to read manual like me :lol

a friend who works for vw has one of these and loves it but i seem to recall him having to discharge battery and recharge it before first use to condition the new battery may be worth checking the manual just in case he uses it at work all the time :thumb2

machine mart also do the Kielder impact too and a range of various bare tool only options spare batteries etc

you tube has some videos on them and there are different colored for different torques on my to get list they come in a set usually

i had a same problem and wrote to dvla as talking to them was useless on the phone in the end i had to get a certificate of conformity from nissan that had all the build details on it before they would change anything not their problem they said and nissan charged £140 quid for it that was 4...

previously when i have had this problem i sprayed easy start in intake to get it to start after having battery issues then once fired never occured again i did read some years that it forces like a reboot of ecu never seen how it did it but always worked for me
