    I packed under the seal with caravan mastic, strip rather than using a gun. Worked on my old 2.7 Tdi for over 7 years, probably still works wherever she is now.

    Started in the good old US of A, I believe. They have lots of pickups and the workers would put the dismountable on the back and use it to sleep in as they crossed miles to the jobs. Once there they could dismount their sleeping accom and use the pick up for work.

    12 Years with the same 2.7 Tdi, I could hear the just audible high pitched whine as the turbo came in. Now I have a 3.0 I was going to ask if you are supposed to hear it or has my turbo packed up :( :confused:
