    well, when mine needed an oil changed it was a definate clunk clunk clunk sound/feel to it. i would imagine if the rear diff is slipping at a point in the cogs it will show up or be extra smooth?? try it both ways. may not show any results but worth a go. good luck.

    hi alex, have you tried it in reverse,on full lock? rear diffs tend to grumble in this position if a problem in that area. mike.

    Sills rot from the inside. If you can see bubbles your sill's goosed not all "water blisters" are from the inside. stone chips etc can cause paint imperfections,add to that frost etc. best thing is to burst them and apply a neutraliser or totally rub back and repaint. catch it quick if you...

    if its just a small patch you need, and you do the cleaning up and painting afterwards give me a shout. full sill is too much prep for me at my time of life :lol:lol:lol 12 years of vw camper welding experience paid off...

    I have drilled a sill before now, to cover a rust hole. I put a grommet in hole and said it was a wax oil point.....result!
