I found these in a clearout, spares from my Terrano. Oil filter, fuel filter, a pair of exhaust rubbers with a used heatshield for the square one. £10 + postage.

Sadly, I think it will push usable cars and spares vehicles their way, not many people would want to pay that to either save mine or rape it for spares.

I tried one of the online quotes for collecting scrap vehicles and it came back with £380 for our 2001 Ford Galaxy 2.3 Ghia and £392 for my SWB 2.4 Terrano. The Galaxy went Saturday, still mulling over the Terrano.

Little update on the Golf. All went back together OK and runs really well, sailed through the Mot and I have been using it daily for work. Cost sub £150 to repair thanks to the spares car that just keeps giving. I have used and sold a few bits off it, over half a tank of fuel and £13.63 in spare...

I have a complete R reg 2.4 SWB Extreme I am on the verge of scrapping if you are interested.

Oh how times change. I had started a new job when I last posted on this thread and 6 weeks later I was furloughed. The Terrano ended up under an artic trailer thanks to a muppet in an X5 but refuses to die so I carried on using it rather than fixing the Golf. I wasn't sure if I would have a job...
