SWB Maverick or Terrano Boot Liner.

If you want to pay me for it I can stick it in the loft until our paths cross. I will (hopefully) be going to Sywell Airdrome 10-11th July for the Airshow and Metheringham, Lincolnshire August 13th. I may also be doing a trip to Scotland at some point but that is undecided as yet. Mike

    Terrano II SWB 2.4 Xtreme

***** SOLD!! ***** As I posted on another thread about scrap prices, I am considering letting my beaten up Terrano go as I cannot see me getting off road in the foreseeable future due to life and other commitments. If anyone would like it for less than the scrap value of £392 I have been...

    Bit steep!!

Sadly, I think it will push usable cars and spares vehicles their way, not many people would want to pay that to either save mine or rape it for spares.

    Scrap Car Prices.

I tried one of the online quotes for collecting scrap vehicles and it came back with £380 for our 2001 Ford Galaxy 2.3 Ghia and £392 for my SWB 2.4 Terrano. The Galaxy went Saturday, still mulling over the Terrano.

    Molten Metal.

Little update on the Golf. All went back together OK and runs really well, sailed through the Mot and I have been using it daily for work. Cost sub £150 to repair thanks to the spares car that just keeps giving. I have used and sold a few bits off it, over half a tank of fuel and £13.63 in spare...

Cheers Rick. I made this one for a car at work to re-shim a pair of steering arms. For the pins I used 5mm drill bit tangs initially as I had no dowels and the joints were so tight they sheared every time. I eventually caved in and cut up a nearly new 5mm Dormer HSS bit and they came undone. I...

    Molten Metal.

Oh how times change. I had started a new job when I last posted on this thread and 6 weeks later I was furloughed. The Terrano ended up under an artic trailer thanks to a muppet in an X5 but refuses to die so I carried on using it rather than fixing the Golf. I wasn't sure if I would have a job...
