Recently Terrano WD21 Owner say Hi guys.

What a difference no winter salt makes ! That looks in pretty good condition for its age - I guess in Portugal it's the sunshine that destroys car interiors instead. Welcome to our community. Ted

    C'mon jeep drivers,who was it?

Location, Location, Location aside its a tidy ZJ series. Looks like an old ZJ (1993-1998) or possibly even a early XJ series - very tidy looking as far as you can tell in the photo. There are quite a few of the ZJ 4 Litre /6 cyl Petrols in the Derby area I looked at one before we bought our r3mR.

    Iv'e gone Japanese again ??

Just gone and bought myself a Honda 400 four F2 Sport as a restoration project for the winter! It's not run for 13 years although it has been cranked over regularly - declared that it needs a cam chain & tensioner - parts included with a box of loads of spares/replacement parts. Target date is...

Terranos whats a practical limit ?

A friend of mine is interested in owning a Terrano and wants to know what the limits are in terms of Body Lifts tweaking the torsion bars - how far can you go & Maximum Wheel diameters ? Not sure if he is serious or daydreaming. I have advised him to buy one that's been done and just needs...

    Never owned a Patrol!

I envy you Les ! Only Nissan 4x4 I have owned was our old R3mr - we loved it. I only dream of owning a Patrol - who know one day perhaps the lower mileage ones I would want to own are just too expensive !

    NM53 EMK - 3.0 SVE Terrano

    PAYG phone cards

I rate Tesco. As Tesco use the O2 network it was 50/50 between Tesco & GiffGaff - as a mate who was with GiffGaff recommended us we split the incentive they gave him! If I had any issues with GiffGaff I would go with Tesco they were cheaper than O2 themselves when I last looked - its an ever...

    PAYG phone cards

One provider does not suit everyones needs. As you say we all have different needs I was with Virgin for three years as they did a good deal if you have TV etc. Trouble is we get no phone signal with Virgin or Vodaphone (was my work phone) its due to us being in a slight dip only O2 works as...

    PAYG phone cards

There is a lot for staying as you are! I don't know who your phone provider is but most will allow you to have auto top up or can be topped up online. With auto top up you do not need to press anything, with GiffGaff you can easily enable or disable all the options. We pay £6 pcm for Goodbag...

    Help for Briggie please

You are right but they can be difficult to disconnect if they are at the back of a cupboard and have been in place a long time.

    PAYG phone cards

GiffGaff works well for me I use GiffGaff I have 4 phones an emergency Nokia 6310 in each Jeep, we have SIM only deals with Auto Top up enabled on our two main phones. They use the O2 network as do Tesco Mobile if you have a good O2 signal either will do. I bought a brand new Huawei P Smart...

    Any plumbers around?

Modern packaging seals. You have painted a great verbal picture there I'm sure most of us have done that. I tried to open a can of soup a few months back - it had a pull ring top - yes the ring snapped off when I used a teaspoon as a lever but just enough of a hole to eject some Tomato soup...

    Any plumbers around?

Ceramic V Screw Down In terms of longevity especially with better tap washer materials you are absolutely right Rick. It's just that 1/4 turn taps that you can push with your elbow is some cases are just so easy to operate especially for older folk with arthritis and thin skin they make life...

    Any plumbers around?

Bristan Video on U tube This is a video showing how it works earlier versions had problems with blow off but they improved the way it fixes so I went for it. Our old tap was a cheap one fitted by contractor - I do like Bristan & Screwfix & others do some decent discounts. Ours came with decent...
