    weights etc

Cheers:thumb2:clap. Do you know what is the rev range for max torque? I was surfing and a few sites mentioned 2500 but not definite. My other car - 1.9TDI - PD engine has max torque at 1800 revs which may explain why i feel the T2 is a little more hesitant - I am maybe changing up the gears too...

    Satellite dishes on 'vans

Hi There Status is a company. They make caravan aerials. The status 'omnidirectional' aerial is the mushroom type on the top of the vans. They are worse than useless. The newer Status directional aerials look more like conventional aerials. They are on an extendable mast which you push up and...

    weights etc

Thanks for all the replies. I will try the whatowcar site. I have tried cuddles before but it gave me wrong figures which meant i was towing with a 97% match - which was not the most stable. My caravan has a hitch limit of 100Kg so i will be going with this limit since you all think the T2...

    Sobering moment

they always look like thugs in those pictures dont they? We all get frustrated with our kids and loose our tempers on occasion, but to inflict bodily injury on a kid is sickening. Why doesnt society inflict the same injuries on them as they did on the children. And why cant we demand that...

    scart plug based freeview

Sorry I didnt explain myself right, there is a remote receiver that plugs into the main unit. This receiver is on a lead which you can site on the front of the TV so that the remote control has a clear line of site. The remote control is then the same as any remote. I would say that they are...

    scart plug based freeview

Hi there I have the bush ibox which is a scart plug in as you say. It is good but my TV in the caravan does not allow it to plug fully in so i need a scart extension which defeats the purpose of it! The ibox has a mains adapter but will take 12V if you are off hookup. It also has a remote...

    Oil again

I asked a question on another thread about oils. Now another question, just for curiosity. When doing your enigne oil changes do you use ordinary, semi synth or full synthetic oil? I have read that the full synth oil is bad for older engines since it is thinner. Then again, other forums have...
