    Corona virus

I really feel for the front liners, like doctors and especially the nurses who have to actually spend time exposed to it, and then return home to loved ones, risking their own family. I just read a tweet from a young girl who's tweets up to a few days ago, mainly consisted of how terrible it is...

    Corona virus

If you look on the website I posted, you can then click on a country, and it gives you all those specifics. I did the UK and its predominantly over 80's, but I was surprised how high diabetic deaths were. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    Corona virus

I found this site a couple of weeks ago, no Government or Media spin, just the basic facts from each country.... I have been checking it daily, and watching how the figures climb. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

    Corona virus

I agree... The reasoning behind it is to reduce the strain on the NHS, by stopping too many people all getting ill at the same time and swamping the system. If this saves peoples lives, like Jim's, my Suz's, my 92 year old Step dad, and selfishly, even though I don't feel particularly High Risk...

The story of our Red T2, Jiggly (Project thread)

Well, with this home confinement, I have decided to catch up on a few jobs on Jiggly. I have been going to change the Nissan radio for ages, but I knew it was not going to be one of those 5min jobs, as it would lead to having to do a list of other jobs as well. So first job was to remove all...

Model Cars Like You’ve Never Seen

It only gets away with it, because we know it's not really a Ford, but I could never have one. It's like the Probe is really a Mazda, but once that Ford badge goes on, it's lost it. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    MG Metro

I thought that the MG was a turbo. The one I drove was a turbo, with the turbo boost gauge over the rear view mirror. Very nippy. Not sure I would want to do a long motorway run in it, but round the back lanes, it was fantastic.

    MG Metro

Looks great... I prefer it in red.. for me, red is the proper MG colour. Great cars to drive, proper "mini, driving on rails" feeling.

    Removed or Delete

There is so much of it, I am feeling very old some days when I look on twitter... Things like:- "ima", instead of "I am going to" Woke... what the hell is that... and the one I keep seeing lately is Niger... how come it is ok for black people to refer to each other as Niger, but if I did it, I...

    Split Charge Wiring Advice

This one has made my brain hurt trying to work it out... The problem is, the way these battery to battery chargers work is effectively a Switch mode power supply. What they do, is take the input DC, chop it into a high frequency, convert it, then smooth it, and spit it back out. To be safe, I...

    Split charger for 2nd battery

The downside to using a Diode, is they have a volt drop over them, usually up to about 0.7v which means the second battery will never get enough volts to fully charge. Lead acid batteries charge on voltage, rather than just current, so 0.7v is a lot to them.

I'd Chop all 3 of my bangers in for this!!!!!

    Caulking Gun

So far, the best manual one I have found are the ones that Lidls and Aldi sell. It's a solid tube, and even comes with extra bits that allow you to fill the tube directly. I first used it for thick caulking, and it was easier than the open flat metal ones.

    Split charger for 2nd battery

The safe way to have a permanently easy way to re-connect the second battery to the first, to actively jump start the car from it, would be to use one of the old-fashioned starter solenoids as your split charge relay. You need something that can pass 600-800 amps when jump starting, and normal...

    Tread Depth Guages

The tread wear indicators are, or should be a 1.6mm raised bar running through the groves of the tire, and usually their locations are marked by "TWI" on the wall. Once the TWI is no longer able to be felt as a different in height between the treads, the tyre is at/past its limit. The law now...

    My Terrano Thread.

I tend to leave my roof lights to come on with high beam most of the time, but heavy rain, fog/mist or snow, and you want to kill them pretty quickly. The foot switch is perfect for that. It is actually illegal for any spot lights behind the front axle to come on with the main beam, so the foot...
