    Switch Bulb Replacement

I should add... these 12v LED's do not need any external components to make them 12v, they actually have a miniscule constant current chip built into the LED, to make them work on 12v, so are actually no different to replacing the bulb with another bulb. They are produced by the likes of Philips...

    Switch Bulb Replacement

I did the switches on both my T2, and Suz's T2 a few years ago, and they were still perfect on mine, when I sold it, and still fine on Suz's. You do get what you pay for, and if you buy the specific 12v LED's, they are not your nasty cheap mass-produced ones you get on Ebay. In fact, I only...

    Elty001's terrano project

Wow, now thats what I need, never had time to waste waiting for paint to dry... ruined many models as a kid when I got to the painting stage. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    Elty001's terrano project

The bash plate will finish that perfectly. Very nice job. I take it that powder coating dries very quickly. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    Elty001's terrano project

You would never know it was a welded steel bumper if you just saw that last shot.. I reckon there will be a few people laughing at him, if they see him slide the high lift into that, only to do a double take when it lifts the car...:lol

    Oil light

I would love a couple of Lithium batteries for the caravan, but still way too expensive... I read somewhere that they are now starting to sell the 2year old ones taken from battery backups, which are changed for preventative maintenance, and most are still 95% of original spec, but often less...

    Oil light

I think you will be pushing things too far... the problem is, split chargers tend not to fully charge the second battery, so I would not think that it's voltage would ever get high enough to even start to charge battery number 3. There are 2 things you need to worry about, firstly voltage, lead...

Nostalgia eh thanks Google Street view

Now that is a weird coincidence, I was also looking at Google maps earlier, and noticed that it shows our RM3R on the drive. :bow

    NM53 EMK - 3.0 SVE Terrano

I am not disagreeing, as I have no idea how this self combustion of linseed oil works, so just wondering why it does it ignite on rags, but not the garden bench, or in your case, T2 chassis. I take it, it is the confined spaces of the screwed up rag that allows the temperature to build up. Look...

    PAYG phone cards

I have trackers fitted in various things, and have found for them, GiffGaff are the best. They use O2's network, so best to check their coverage in your area, but when camping, giff gaff have never let me down. The trackers mainly use text and phone calls, but do use data as well. Basically...

    Any plumbers around?

We get Lactofree milk for the ferrets, and trying to open some of them is a farce. You can't get your finger through the loop, if you use a spoon handle, it breaks the loop. Once the loop is broken, it's down to pliers. On top of that, if you do get to pull it open, you are holding the cartoon...

    Any plumbers around?

Stick the word caravan in front, or Carver/Truma/Whale, and the price rockets... Luckily, I did find that there was a normal non caravan one, it just took a bit of digging. The price fell from £36 to £15!!

33 12.50 R15 - To Balance or Not to Balance

Definitely, a tyre that size out of balance could do all sorts of damage to the suspension and steering geometry. Make sure they take the lable off before balancing, someone once showed me how much the balance changed with lable on V off. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    Terrano 2.4 petrol

Too late.. lol... have had to launch the Search & Rescue boat a couple of times. I have a towball mounted on a flat plate, with a D ring through it. This allows me to attach a 10metre strap to the trailer hitch. I can also use the solid draw bar as a push bar as well. Some of the slipways they...

    Any plumbers around?

On the caravan taps, which use ceramic inserts, the one in the loo started dripping, so I replaced the cartridge at phenomenal cost ( it's a mixer tap), only for it to continue dripping. Eventually, it turned out that the seat at the bottom, where the cartridge seals down with a rubber O ring...
