    Second Battery fitment hardware

To be fair my knowledge of Electrics and Electronics is pretty 'old school' now, but both explanations make sense, for current to flow there has to be a potential difference. But in the event of a battery failing I see that it could, at the very least, scrap the second battery. Plus if you had...

    AT Tyres

I put a set of five of these on mine about 9,000 miles ago and they have been every bit as good as (if not marginally better) than the BFG AT's I used to swear by. Lots of motorway, lots of towing and they go off road virtually every day. No real signs of wear yet maybe just the slightest...

    Buying a car off eBay...

I have bought and sold a couple of hundred vehicles on ebay with no problems at all, if you don't want it just don't pay there is nothing the seller or ebay can or will do! I have come across a few fibbing dogs who try and sell you crap but they are few and far between and I usual persuade them...

    Veg oil ???

cheapest diesel possible! but, on all my travels so far this year I have found rapeseed oil at lower prices than KTC! for example with the Farmfoods offers it is £17.91 for 20 liters (based on buying 50l in 10L containers) so there are no savings in using poorer quality stuff :thumb2

Pete, 56 mpg is fairly easy to achieve, I drove one of ours on the motorway to Stratford one cold wet morning and with the wind behind us and a steady speed the readout indicated 72 mpgs! But even if it was only 40 it's still twice as good st your trooper!
