what would the part number be for the sensor? there are no numbers or anything on mine. mine is near the fan at the front, and has the greyish connection, 3 wires. i did get one on ebay but it didnt fit, it had a black connector.

Sounds like a right royal pain in the ass... Nice sunny day sort of a job.

I used to get the CKP fault code but I don't anymore, still stall at times, more so on a hot day, but get other error codes instead that relate to fuel so the computer thinks. Little luck and in a few days install new ckp and problems gone. If not then need new no1 injector too.

With luck, me too. Will hold off on new injector No1 for now then. With luck the stall issue and codes 18 34 go away with new crank sensor.

managed to find online for little over £100, with luck it helps. then need to fix fault 18/34, they relate to fuel... but maybe relate to the crank sensor...

yes i think so. i have a Hitachi MAF with Zexel ECU/Pump other problem i have is that, i think someone has applied what i think is a liquid type of PTFE so i will need to maybe add a little heat or something to get it off.

i have just done mine, one of my wishbone bolts was also warped. i did fix it, careful though not to snap them. to avoid this, i use a blow torch (usng MAP gas) to get the part fully glowing red hot, then using mole grips to hold it, i placed it on a metal table and used a 2lb hammer to hit it...
