Front suspension clunk and squeak on full lock

And the squeal will be the PS belt slipping cause the pump is working so hard to hold the steering on the stops - as said above, relax your grip a tiny bit, problems solved. Though your belt probably needs tightening or replacing too

    Broken gearbox?

I once had a front diff go bang on me, that caused alarming bangs etc - with fixed hubs it would be causing all sorts of trouble, with autos I was able to back up, release them and drive home on it. - will try to find thread with it in if I can.

    Broken gearbox?

Check to see if the transfer box is working or not first - physically check not just wiggle the lever then disconnect front and rear props one at a time trying it in 2wd and 4wd in each gear and see what it does - you should be able to narrow it down to either in the box or at either axle/diff...

    Cleaning MAF's

Hi sweety - welcome back, just returned myself. Carb cleaner or brake cleaner will be fine, both are just solvents that will wash any oil off. Jim - not sure on contact cleaner its acidic and could attack the metal elements of the MAF, personally I wouln't have risked it but if you got away...

    Snap On

The halford pro range is good stuff, a lot of it i the same as the stuff from J&S tools, Signet and Trident, both of which also carry a guarantee. I have a mixture of all sorts in my own kit and used to be a J&S dealer. Snap on stuff is finished really nicely but in use is not much better the...

    I hate insurers...

So long as the other party gets held 100% at fault your NCB won't be effected. You can claim your excess back off the other party - even in a knock for knock 50/50 you can get half of it back off the other sides insurer. If you do end up in another accident the assessor and repairer will most...

    Troll storage drawers

    I hate insurers...

DO NOT ACCEPT ANY OFFER OF PAYMENT Challenge them to find a replacement of similar age and condition to yours that you could buy with what they have offered. They won't be able to - i the mean time you can go out and find the real cost of replacement. If you are claiming off the other parties...

    Second Battery fitment hardware

If you look you can also see the split charge relay. Both batteries are of the same type and age, but I'm sorry like many things on the internet the battery discharge from one to another is just an urban legend - provided both batteries are holding the same voltage, which if charging from the...

    Second Battery fitment hardware

A few years back I gathered up the bits to make up kits for second battery installs but never got round to actually selling any. Would anyone be interested in these if I gather the stuff up out of the garage and make them up into kits? Will include the steel battery tray and all the bolts...

    Traditionalist

I have some of both styles but they are the ones I reach for most often, though mine are the clark ones from machine mart. They are so quick to set to height and drop back down it just helps speed jobs up.
