    Metro 6r4

late 80 had regular maestros and a montego. So always fancied an MG version. Went to few events where MG Maestro challenge was on. Cars were stripped out and had cages but were Group N so standard power, could shift. the montego was a 2L injected estate so almost MG power. these days follow...

    MOT Changes

https://classics.honestjohn.co.uk/news/general-news/2014-03/classic-car-road-tax-exemption-now-rolling-at-40-years/ funny as the original rolling scheme was axed just before my 74RRC would have qualified, not that i owned it, looks as this was in 2014 it would have qualified again, though...

    MOT Changes

not heard that but makes sense, sort of related, what happened to stuff going tax exempt. wasn't it about 25 year old, scheme started, but then was stopped, to me would be fair if tax exempt applied as per Mot cut off. Whilst think 25 years old for a classic is questionable I'd go for 40 years...

Hi! Looking to buy a pathfinder

err not so sure now, always understood pathfinder R51 was no on separate chassis, as D40 Navara has. but Wiki says they share the F Alpha platform... Believe on Navs the rot is rainwater between the cab and bed, so the SUV should fair better but need checking. The snapped chassis navara group...

Hi! Looking to buy a pathfinder

always liked them, had a test drive in a demo unit about 12 years ago and certainly different to terrano. we liked the third row feature that has a useable, well bigger than the t2 boot plus seats fold into floor zafira style. whilst looks longer think is only same foot print, as body is taken...

3 Litre is it a bad engine?

very happy with 3 litre in t2, and i said would never have another zd after the y61 cost me 3.5 grand rebuild. as said problems sorted. think sometimes on fb, it feels like all lifting and alternative fueling which zd doesn't suit. my faith restored, would take a later auto trol. well upto 55...

    rev counter died

dash did strange thing other night, knew had quarter tank of fuel. fuel light low came on, then watched fuel needle go slowly to full, light stayed on. caught speed needle coming down from max to zero, was stationary, not sure if went up then down or right around..... switched off and on...

    13yrs and a day

well know faith restored in the zd, would like a face lift trol, on say 55 plate, to keep lower tax band but have 3 point belt middle row centre seat. plus know have c-max the size of trol would not be an issue road town.... or a pathfinder.... sorry for bad language but quite like the mk3...

Built in and built on oven?

built in, is usually eye/waist level in a tall carcass. built under, has feet, sits on floor and would typically be under the hob in the worktop
