Found this while clearing out. Rear boot cover in grey from my 1998 Mav. £30 Can post or collection from Devils bridge (Wales) Area. Probably be around £12-18 for delivery. I'm not out to make any money on delivery, I will charge you what it costs me.

If you're moving about regularly i'd just fit a 2nd battery and maybe a higher amperage Alternator. Remember a 120w panel will only provide that in ideal conditions with it angled and tracking the sun. On a cloudy day you may only get 20-30w.

Check around the rear spring mounts, My dads 2005 SWB needed welding there this year. My 1997 mav only needed it doing 2 years ago. The newer ones seem to be less rotten in some places and more so in others. Compared to 96-2000 & 2000-2006.

many of the older cheaper bigger ones only have a small motorcycle gel acid battery inside them.

lithium polymer & ion batteries can supply insane amounts of power. For this application even if it's for short period of time is enough to jump start a vehicle a few times. Although my friends one wires melted trying to jump start his diesel van. No idea on the make.

Yeah UV-5R work well nice cheap radio, You can get the BF888s for about half that tho. Programming via PC is easy peasy too. :thumb2

Top work :) Look at the bf888s radios if you haven't already. less buttons to press if you give them to a less tech savvy person. Program all the channels the same so all you have is the on/volume and the PTT.

What size steel? Maybe it's to stop dodgy steel stockists from selling cheap chinese dangerous steel as good steel and thus stopping it from ending up in buildings and structures.
