I sometimes wonder if the 'knocking out thing' is a blessing. Lucy who was in the Patrol with me can remember nothing about the accident following the initial impact and she is fine. I can remember everything, from seeing him bearing down on us, the initial impact, the sliding up the motorway...

We do get out there.... but the event certainly changed how I think without thinking about it, if you see what I mean, I used to think PTSD, was all in your mind (no pun intended).... how wrong I was.

Yes you never know what's just round the corner.... or in our case, steaming up behind you :D Took a long time to get back to any sort of normality as far as psychological issues are concerned. Even now 4 years on and I still see the negative in everything, the what if this happens, what if...

I consider myself safe too and being a biker the only way to survive is to treat everyone else on the road like total idiots :thumb2 But it didn't stop this happening.... I hate to think what would have been the outcome if I had things rattling round in the back :eek:

Really sad news :( I never got to meet Chris but we had many conversations via PM here. He always spoke his mind and stuck by his strong beliefs. He was also happy to offer help and advice whenever he could. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends during this sad event. He will...
