Dinitrol the whole truck, wire brush it and spray on. Do it in the summer when its dry and warm.. buy a kit off ebay or from the store. £125 for a large car but you will need a compressor.

I agree with low mileage can = trouble. My wife has a very low mile vw golf gt petrol, this car has been nothing but trouble from the start with problem after problem and it continues to this day and an ongoing dangerous electrical issue problem reared it head again today.. this car is genuine...

Personally i dont think she will ever like the jeep and you will be wasting money on upgrades.. my wife did the same with a v6 long wheel base suzuki vitara some years back... we just sold it and moved on..

Its alot of work and if not on a ramp bloody hard work, it depends how long you want to keep the truck and how much you want to keep the truck on the road. You will also need to replace some of the body mounts i would suspect.. just measure up the sills and find some box section a similar size...

26 year old flexi brake lines replaced today and fresh fluid, did the centre two when i did the lift so another job done. Part numbers if anyone needs them on the boxes.

Shell helix hx7 10/40 which i also used in my zd 30, the td42 are old school truck engines so are a bit agricultural in design but it responded really well and it now sounds like the oil gets around the engine really quickly on a cold morning..

Just done an oil change on the td42 and decided to change grade, normally i use 15/40 which is recomended for general use but when cold it does sound a bit tappy for a while so changed for high quality 10/40 and it sounds so much happier right from the start.. so thats the trans and engine done...

Personally i would check fuel lines first, they can have tiny rust holes in them that you cant see but are slightly damp around the hole.. very hard to spot, i replaced the lines on one of my old trucks and it cured it.. also the pump on the filter housings dont last forever and do become a...
