    Thanks, it been a while since i posted anything. The gull wing windows are pretty good but the cost of them seems dis proportionate to the material/labour in it. There a few good diy versions which i may give a go sometime.

    Drawer system About time i had some way to carry the gear neatly so had a bash at a drawer system, rough and ready and needs finishing but certainly sturdy. these were supposed to be a prototype so i could decide on layout etc so they will probably come out again but for now they do the job...

    My first 4x4 was an Xtrail - its what got me in to the whole thing. I would spend days living out of mine on a lot of beach fishing excursions - I can tell you that on the beach they where one of the lightest treading machines going and i loved mine to bits.     Hi fella's Turned out wiring from the relay was buggered somewhere along its route so i re-wired the appropriate relay to the plug before the buz bar and its all sorted.     Ah yes, real plastic!!!! made from Un-recycled materials :lol:lol polyoxybenzylmethylenglycolanhydride = thermosetting phenol formaldehyde resin........C6-H6-O.C-H2-O)x Ya know its good when its got all that in it!! I miss that stuff.....:eek::eek:

    The craftman that made that is most likely long dead and buried too, what I love about older items like this is the legacy that one fabricator left behind him.:thumb2, the skill and the care that went into a little item to hold tea is beyond modern day comprehension. I agree, get it used...
