    Adding window tint

Currently there is a thread about removing tinted windows which reminded me that I want to add tint to my windows. Can someone advise on how their attempt went where they bought it from and any hints? I will not be tinting the driver and passenger windows. Also i would rather pay someone to...

    VEG OIL! another thread! lol

I'm guessing that at this price it is Filtered WVO. It's way too cheap to be SVO. In the very unlikely event that it is SVO I'll take 4 IBC'S full plus a healthy commision for you :thumb2

    NEXT!!! Help req.

Black gunky stuff in the filter/tank could also be glycerine. This is the stuff that drops out of the bottom of BIO diesel after making it from veg oil. If it has not been sufficiently well made or rushed and some is left in there a small bit can drop out later. If you have no small banjo...

    buying another car

Ewwww! My insurance is the same cost as 3 tanks of fuel (if you buy it from the tax station - I make my own fuel :naughty ) or about 1000 miles of driving. I suspect you want to change vehicle for reasons other than the cost of insurance.

    Filters

Cheapest 15w/40 is best DO NOT USE full synthetic. I buy all 3 filters (oil, air and fuel) from milners 4x4 online at £9 a go. Never had any problems in the last few years.

    Thinking about buying a Terrano

KTC oil is soya product which is ok but not the best. Farmfoods are selling rapeseed oil in 10 litre containers for 90ppl. One of the best oils for veg running and easier to fill than using a 20 litre cubbie. MPG - I very much doubt that any are getting 30mpg. 24 to 28 is more reasonable...

    Great Wall Motors

It may be crap today, but in 10 years it will probably be a good car. The Chinese will probably be selling most of the worlds cars by then and a lot cheaper than other equivalent ones. 10-15 years ago Korean cars were both awful and very cheap. Today they make very good cars. The problem comes...

temp gauge reading on 2004 3L Terrano

The speed at which your water heats up is related to how much fuel you are burning. On my Rover Diesel that does 50 MPG it takes about 4-5 miles before the water is hot enough to make hot air. On my Nissan that does 25 MPH it takes about 2 miles before it is hot. Of course having a stuck open...

    Air Bag Light!

Three months ago it was only an advisory. It is on the current VOSA "watch" list to be added to the ever increasing fail items for some time in the future. MOT OK for now.

    speedo out.

This is a very good point. I have known that my speedo is out by 11% since the day I bought her. I'm not the only one either. Its no problem at any speed as I compensate accordingly Speedo 78 mph = actual 70 (11%) Speedo 70 mph = actual 63 (11%) Speedo 33.5 mph = actual 30 (11%) My bus has...

    Exhaust advice

Due to the likelyhood of having snapped manifold bolts and no way of me fixing it, i have decided to have this replaced at a garage. Worst price £168 Best price quoted £77 - actual price on arrival £96 - haggled down to £90 Job done.

    Air Bag Light!

Mine has been flashing for the last two years :( I tried all of the fixes usually given on here, but it did not work for me. Until it's an MOT fail item, a piece of black tape does the job quite well :D

    Exhaust advice

OK As the OP I'm just reporting back on this. I ordered the Ebay item as linked on the first post. It cost £26 and £11 delivery from Germany, came in less than a week. I fitted it this morning, perfect fit very good quality. I would recommend them. Unfortunately when I fired her up I could...

    Makro offer for veg runners

Just bought 5 x 10 litre bottles from farmfood with the voucher you linked to :thumb2 These 10 litre bottles are also easier to fill up with than the 20 litre cubies. I had the car outside and was loading them in and the lad on the till said he would give me a hand as the store was empty. Just...

    This month (20/02/13 - 05/03/13) KTC 20 litre cubbies £17.99 = 90ppl. That is a reduction of 2.5ppl from last month.
