i use old engine oil it dont cost anything but you will get in a mess, i leave the Terrano off the drive for a few days,it also soaks into the rust well????

I put moly slip in my gearbox last oil change did not notice any different so i totally agree with Makeitfit just leaves a hole in your pocket!!

Ian when youve spent your £10 joining look in the downloads and the search section and you will be able to service the Terrano yourself and of course save ££££££££££££s, its a great site ive allready had more than my moneys worth.

Zippy656 you were correct it was the relay and i could only get one from my local Nissan dealer then he had to get it direct from Nissan cost £34. The relay was in the fuse box on the interior drivers side.Thanks to all for ther replies.

does anybody know which relay it will be as i have looked but cant see which one it is, there all clearly marked but none say front fog?

My Front fog lights on my 2001 Terrano have stopped working,(the rear one is ok). i have checked the fuse also replaced it and checked the bulbs, the dashboard light does not come on either any info would be of great help?

Gross vehicle weight of Terrano plus MAM (max authorised mass) of caravan it will mean you will above 3500kg. My Terrano has a GVW of 27000 kg and my 4 berth caravan has a MAM of 1425 = 4125kg. I think you will find it all done on the gross weights,my son (22) cant drive my terrano with my van...

Ive got the 3 mobile broadband dongle and only once could i not get a signal and that was in Somerset. I also have a Vodaphone mobile Dongle and that is rubbish, my mate has a BT mobile dongle and thats average.My wife has a Tesco phone and seems to get a signal where i cant with my Vodaphone...

You need to check the gravity of each cell a 4 year old leisure battery which has not been charged correctly during it life wil be knackered,i personally would bin it!

i had the same problem i had found that where the bowden cable fixer was fixed the plastic surround had split, so a bit of glue and a cable tie to pull it all back together was what was needed, all now working ok, just took radio out and the surround wright down to gear lever if that makes sense?.

Most awnings have a small label stitched into the part which slides into the awning rail. if not use a piece of string and slide it into your awning rail of your caravan ground to ground to get the correct size that way.
