    ignition switch

The heater is an easy problem to solve m8...simply remove the two self tappers securing the rheostat card .....close to the heater blower unit under passenger side of dash. Seperate the card from the electrical 'socket'thingy...you will see that the 'track' on the card will have a burnt-out...

    tyre wear

My inclination would be to take your vehicle back to the place where you had your new tyres fitted and ask them to check wheel balance again...I have known them fit the wrong weights 8O Something...and I strongly suspect wheel balance is causing your judder...get em to check the rims...

    My Mindy Jeep

Plank...sorry m8 must have lost my memory for a sec when I wrote that post ...the engine is of course the Peugeot 2112cc XDP diesel engine. That makes it a 2.1 not 2.2 ...sorry if I caused confusion... Your right about the 2.5 engines...found in Ford Granadas and LDV vans. Some had a turbo...

    My Mindy Jeep

I have only ever seen two Mitsubishi varients of this vehicle for sale in the UK. Mitsubishi never ever exported this jeep into the UK. The build quality of the Mitsu's compared to the Indian Mahindra from what I have gathered is far superior. But this is reflected in the price...Mitsubishi...

    Removing instrument / gauge pod

For the benefit of others who may experience similar problems this is how I fixed a few of those faults mentioned at top of this thread. I tackled the wiper problem first. The wiper linkage bar/arm that connects both wiper spindles had worn and popped off one of its 'balls' (its a ball and...

    ignition(start) switich

I could believe that they might not have a full range of spares for an 89 Granny...cos I have an 86 Granny  ...but a Mav is a hell of a lot younger and I would fully expect that they still carry most spares. I went to QUICKCO/LAIDLAWS today..this is a Ford spares centre in Bellshill...

    ignition(start) switich

Hi Your local Ford dealer may not have the switch in stock...but they should certainly be able to order one for you. I would get back on the blower to them and get em to order one in for you.
