Brett, when I changed the starter on my T2 [1998]. It's the same on my current T2 [2004] I found it easiest to get it out through the offside wheel arch. Jack her up, remove the wheel and then the weatherseal in the arch and the starter is right in front of you. still not easy to do but it WILL...

With the greatest respect, I don't think the pedal bush would've caused the clutch pedal to drop down to the floor overnight.

And here is the little sucker fitted on the pipe. My 'dropped clutch pedal ' problems have gone! :-)

All you need to do to be rid of the silly damper pipe is to cut it off about an inch from where it comes out of the box and fit an 8mm stop end compression fitting, bought for about a quid off the bay. Simples!

Thanks, guys. I don't seem to be losing any fluid and I bled the damper pipe a few months ago. Might be an idea to change all the fluid I guess and go from there. Thanks.

As long as it'll fit in a 40mm aperture it'll be fine ;)

My Terrano has 2 auxiliary 12v sockets fitted as standard, one of which has been mullered. :'(
