Winding up torsion bars

Hi guys!
Decided my Maverick has far too much of a "nose down" stance and seeing as I plan to do a little off-roading with it later in the year (Samurai temp out of action) I think it could do with the front suspension winding up an inch or two.
I did this a few years back with my Fourtrak Indy but this was really easy, you just put a socket on a bolt poking out of the chassis and tighten it up for more lift. (of course with wheels off ground).
I came to try the same at the weekend and it appears to be a different system on the Mav and not as easy as the Fourtrak was. Either that or i'm a bit dim lol!

It's how to reindex them, but you will get an idea what's what..

It's pretty much as you did on the 4trak
Just the bolt has 2 nuts (ie one is a lock nut), so slack those off and stick your socket on the bolt and wind away:sly simples

Try a Spanner as thats what i use :thumbs

No, just 2 spanners & a tape measure on level ground :thumbs

will have to get spraying with the WD40 first for a week or so i think then

They shouldnt be to bad & if they are then use oil if the good old WD40 doesnt do it :thumbs
