bio diesel

Probably been answered to the max on here

Can I run my 1997 2.7td Mistral on Biodiesel, (primarily from Morrisons)

Any Issues ar concerns found by other Biodiesel users?
Do I need to make any alterations?

I'm running on near as damn it neat bio and it's only 64p a litre
No problems with it even in the cold we had :thumbs

None to be aware of - the Morrisons stuff is usually a 30% biodiesel mix so nowhere near the 100% that makeitfit is running.

i never put morrisons diesel in any of my cars again... come to think of it would not even put it in the tractor!! it mayed my t2 smoke and have a cough since i have put non supermarket fuel in it had no problems!!! even morrisons normal diesel is yellow in colour! i thought diesel at the pumps was white!!!! rather put red in my truck than morrisons crap! only my oppinion mind:augie

thats weird Sid cos i use it quite a bit with no problems.

wonder why? I usually get mine in Carmarthen but thats a bit far for you lot LOL! It might be because they don't sell much - the pump I use is covered in stickers saying it won't suit a lot of modern cars and I reckon that puts people off.

was 85p a litre @ Sainsburys last I looked

Pour in a few litres and see how it goes.

well it caused pleanty of problems with my truck!!! also the l200 i had 07 plate....after i had it 2 months of running it on morrisons diesel had to go to the garage due to lots of smoke and bad running!!! they had it 3 weeks!! to fine the only thing upsetting the truck was the YELLOW MORRISONS DIESEL.. i thought it was the build quality of the truck so i sold it as the garage were a load of w..kers anyway.... then the same with the t2 so sod morrisons and their diesel:augie the reson they are not sell bio diesel any more is the goverment another load of w..kers have stoped the relife on bio diesel.. ie not werth selling now!!!! so much for all the goverments green issues!!!!

just an update, i phoned morrisons and they have now stopped selling bio-diesel, and as far as the guy knows this could be eventually be all stores,

what a blow got 4 stores within 10 miles and non sell bio, :doh

it will be all the stores not selling bio diesel!!! due to the goverment removing the duty relife on bio!!!! so it would cost more to sell at the pumps than normal diesel!!! bit more duty for the goverment dont they get enough out the motorist!!!! and their green issues well what a load of b...cks!!

The morrisons near me did sell bio but it was the same price as dino so prob most people not take the risk and stick to dino if there's no cash saving? thus the store stops selling it as no one buys it?
if they sold it a bit cheaper......

yes its stop!!! know a man quite high up in morrisons and he told me!!!! veg oil use that for cooking dont you?:augie
