quick query

I just dont know what this is for....

when i have started the engine and driven a bit, I get a single audible beep when i turn on an indicator. It only happens once during any trip.

what is this - anyone any ideas????

I opened the door and mine beeped at me for a few days but it soon got fed up and stopped again

Thanks for the reply. Do you think it is a short and I am hearing the beep from the audible relay??

You might have a new thing, how many times have driven behind someone with the indicator still going

They use to make a noise when indicators first came out on vehicles,
oopsss I'm showing my age no I saw it on a vintage car the other day

Its intermittent. Sometimes the beep occurs and sometimes not. I think it is most likely to do with the towbar as said above.

time was when several cars we had with towbars/electrickery would beep once.
think modern relays eliminate said beep. maybe an old relay you have, swap it
just a few quid.
