Default bare with me

right, changed oils , filters but still there seems to be something missing, no oomph .not expecting 0-60 supersonic but would like to be able to do it in under 30 se. when starting off engin seems to be racing and not changing gears , but if we press a/t switch down it seems to help a bit this is our main concern . others we can talk about as we get more familiar

Didnt the Mistral only come as an auto diesel?

No oooomph - I had no ooomph and it took a cleaned maf sensor, a good service, a de-cat pipe, a new back box and a proper fitting manifold before it all came back

to change gears quickly in the mistral , simply take your foot off the loud pedal , but avoid kickdown, driving the mistral is totally different to any other auto diesel i have ever driven , once you get used to it , its the dogs danglies . keep the a/t selector switch in the middle , accelerate gently , because if you press the loud pedal hard you will only go into power mode , and that prolongs gear changes

If it's the 2.7 TD it is a non intercooler version and doesn't have a MAF.

If the revs aren't steady in Neutral (park) before you engage drive then it could be air getting into the fuel lines and you may get loads of white smoke.

Mini filter would be a good starting point, also if engine is rough on start up it may be the glow plugs.
