Default Previous Owners

Does anyone know if its possible to find out the contact details of previous owners of your truck.
My V5 registration document says my truck has had 6 previous owners (the last owners details i have).
There are a few additional switches and things that have been retro fitted to my truck and i dont know what they are for, i thought if i could contact the previous owners who ever fitted them could let me know.
Is it possible to get the details from the dvla.

I've tried the previous owner, he said the switches were there when he bought the truck.

i think if you check the dvla website you can write to them to ask for such info and you have to explain why, it is then up to them. I think there is a charge for it though.

Red face DVLA history

You can complete a form obtainable from the DVLA local office its a Fee Paying Enquiry Form the reply is a VQ7 you will get all the details of every registered keeper and licencing applications etc.

If its an import you get a copy of the documents supporting its registration in the UK. It takes about 4-6 weeks in 2008 year it cost me £5.00

You have to give a reason I stated it was for mileage continuity verification.
