Default nissan terranno 2.7td loss of power

Dont know if this might be of help to any other members ,my 1994 2.7 pre intercooler terranno was loosing power and was struggling for revs . I changed the fuel filter and read all the usual threads regarding this problem, was just thinking this is going to be expensive ,when by chance i removed the gland nut on the fuel pipe on the incoming side of the filter .When i looked up the hole towards the filter it was blocked with loads of crap ,I cleaned it out with a screwdriver and an airline and it now pulls better than it has done since i bought it three years ago . As this seems to be a common fault with lots of owners its worth a look and only takes 10 minutes.

This was not the mini fuel filter as on the downloads this was a blockage in the pipe on the incoming side Of the main fuel filter IE before the fuel gets into the diesel filter, i have not seen this problem talked about before

Not read about this problem before as you say.

Sounds like you had some crapy fuel in your tank or biodiesel has been in there and stripped all the wax from inside the tank and fuel lines and thats where its collected :?:
