sod the aircon, just make sure motor is cooled enough. you can alway wind down
the window. I say this has just had vanout to test previously overheating patrol and sure enough it is again, only took a couple of hilly roads near me. glad wasnt holiday bound. found even with electric fan on, the viscous was doing sod all, sloppy as anything so back to garage...cos i aint taking those belts off and putting em on again! then i'll check the aircon..presume it needs gassing as is just room/road temp not icey like old carwas. btw does a misty have a pollen fillter, can't recall full as my mk2 t2 didnt but it didnt have a/c either. isnt it behind glove box?

Yes lovely and chilly thank you. It's managing 6degC at the centre vents at 25deg C ambient. Somewhat rather irritated that I've just had to replace the condensor again after it split at 14months old. |
