It's a great feeling pouring the veg oil in and then driving around for much less than you would otherwise have been!

You'll get strange looks while pouring it in which is fun.

Enjoy!

Been on near enough neat bio/veg oil for 6 months ish
It was ok in the freezing winter too
It's gone up a bit recently but still ,75p a liter ready done is pretty cheap

I would like to use veggie oil in my 1997 tdi but am unsure that it is suitable as I have the Hitachi MAF and I think that means I will have the non Bosch fuel pump which i have heard is unsuitable.... anyone with the Hitachi MAF successfully using veggie at 50-50? regards bri

No the guy you gave me the number for was a bit er , er , slack
He also said he put all sorts of strange stuff in it, so didn't have a lot of confidence in him in the end
In Feb we were getting it for 64p a litre but it's getting more expensive cause it's getting more popular I guess
There's a local guy setting up at the mo and he says it'll be around 68p, so we'll wait n see

Seems to be around 1.21 on a good day
The stuff we've had is mucho good stuff and the guy will give you all the low down on it
There must be more people doing it round the country, it's just a pain to find a reliable one at reasonable money

Sunflower is one of the best; its widely used in Europe where they've been doing this a lot longer than we have!
