Default newbie

Hi, im looking to buy a 55-57 plate pathfinder, would like all the toys ect!!
i always join a owners forum before buying a car as people always give sound advice.

i like the pathfinder for its looks, bootspace and value for money.

are there any things i need to watch out for, things to stay away from ect?
what are the auto boxes like?

regards anth

Not many new Pathfinder owners on here that I'm aware of Anth, but the running gear and engines are used on other trucks. But its always seemed to get good press, just the running costs are a bit on the juicy side....

Have a look here...

zippy you post whore, you only did that so you could do No. 6000 - that manuel is for the rusty old 1990s Pathfinder, not the shiny new one....right, go on - do it.

I did think about one but decided against it - there are much more efficient 4x4s out there, albeit a tad pricier if you want something heavyweight, but things like the Honda CRV or Hyundai Santa Fe knock it into a cocked hat unless you need serious off-road capability.

At this point, someone will come along and start telling you to buy a Jeep...

....and TBH you could do worse!
