Hey Zippy656,

Good to have you back!

Ive just drove from Aberdeen back to Leeds ... despite the motorways being nose to tail with caravans ( ) I only spotted 4 T2's tugging caravans!

Also, 1 Trol, 1 Pathifnder, a fair few Navaras.... and a whole load of X-trails.

No where near as many Nissans as Kia Sorento's though.... hundreds of them!!!

Also saw a couple of damn scary outfits... worse one was prob a Vauxhall Corsa towing a largish caravan!!!!!

on the rallies we attend nissans in general seem to balance out
the rest put together.

last time out was our troll, 2 r20s, an xtrail, a pathy and a nav.
versus as i recall 3 discos, couple of kias oh and 2 2wd cars/mpvs

seems 4x4 is king on rally circuit, and plenty of twin axles which
i always thought wouldnt venture away from the plush sites with
facilities.

TTT,

Which centre do you rally with? I'm in Yorkshire Pennine, know lots in Dales too.

Talking of twin axels brother in law has gone to Northern Sports this weekend... towing a big flash twin axel with a Sorento. Apparently the field is a mud bath though and his front prop shaft chose this exact moment to pack in meaning he cant get 4wd

He had to get the car n 'van (together) towed ON to the field by a Shogun!!!

Might have to ring him later to rub it in!!!

Back to Nissans towing you also tend to see alot of T2's at the farmers markets with cattle trailers on.... well, either T2's or Diatshu's (cant spell)

Thats WHY we got a twin axle mate only way we could fit in all the plush bits we wanted live rather than survive going to the smaller not sophisticated (and cheaper ) sites like cl's we rarely go to "proper" sites this june we did but it wasnt a fully featured one and last year we had a few days on one but apart from that

We did look at a couple of people carriers which could hack the loadbut after watching the wet weather antics on a few sites we went 4x4 and never looked back
