been there and done that, loved it on trapese, nearly broke my are, hit a wave boat stopped (only for a split second) but i did'nt and hit gunnel.

you could always try a little more extreme then.................. and it's a lot dryer. If anyone wants to come out for a sail, I've a 40' Hartley 15 tonne yacht, not a lot of high winds around but come september...... last year, got caught out in a force 9 coming back from northern scotland and ran on a reach with just hankerchief up! still hit 9+ kts, was like a rollercoaster

Foul weather gear provided

Dingies and catamarans are fun, offshore just hits that spot and you get to go for longer..............
