What are you looking for Jimmy92 - peice and quite, or pubs and clubs???
I found St Ives Bay a little expensive, and crampted... although you do get the pubs, clubs and swimming pool. Also no dogs allowed. If you like the St Ives area I can recommend here ... http://www.churchtownfarm.org.uk/ Just down the road (about a mile) from St Ives Bay, showers, toilets, great views, near beach and alot cheaper Other Sites I reg visit are: http://www.globevale.co.uk/ Globe Vale Holiday Park, nr Redruth. Nice site, kids park, and loads of space. The field we were in had a tap every 2 caravans. Clean showers and toilets. Nice views and level. Bit out of the way though, no shops or beach within walking distance. Was quite cheap when we were there, although I think the prices have shot up now! http://www.presingollfarm.co.uk/ Presingoll Farm. Large field, quite exposed to sun () or wind! Small clean toilets and shower block. Little shop on site selling essentials. 5 minute walk into local town (St Agnes) Numerous beaches in easy reach (by car) Downside is they charge for everything... pitch, person, awning, hook-up.... dog!!!!! Good luck with finding somewhere that has space though... I booked my summer holiday in January, and even then about 8 places we phoned were booked already!!! mmm, cornwall... |
