ok, help needed again
ok, been looking where i can get my big power cable through from the battery...
ive seen just above where the wiring loom comes through there the hole for the read washer water. so can i poke the wire through here and re seal with some silicone sealant.. then here fit the fuse box. with 6 fuses, two for the new sockets one for the cb.. the extra for later ( lights ) so wheres the best way to run the cables from here back?? under carpet or else where? where the cables run in the T2 with the sockets in th eback any ways.. |

Yo Zippy, there's a couple of grommets you can use in front of the driver Just poke one out, drill a hole in it the size of your wire. Then stick it back in, poke the wire in it and pull through carefully.
Easy way to get the cable to the back is along the carpet edge. Just undoo the plastic trim at the bottom of the door and lift the carpet a bit. Poke your cable under there with the dust sand and dog hair then stick the trim back on Simples. Repeat on the way back as required |

There is an un used gromet at the back of the glove box. that's where all my wires for the lights come through on mine.

Zippy, I've got no experience on putting new wires into terranos but done loads of other cars.
Personally (and it is personal pref) I always go with the straightforward easiest option. I've been looking for somewhere to route the switched trigger wire to the relay for my svo heater and I cant see a better route than youve got in your pictures. Theres a wiring loom already in place to follow and fasten to . It also (if its the same as mine) comes out in a fairly handy spot but in the middle of everything. If you puncture any existing seals or the rubber shroud on the loom just dab a bit of silicone sealant on once the wires seated to keep the weather out Inside previous cars I've never had a problem getting wires to push away under trim panels for most of their route Thats if your new cable can fit through that size gap of course |
