Question One thing I have never understood

Why the need for pm's on forums? why have a public forum when alot of the time members are useing pm's?? when there are things like skype & Messenger for that?

yes its a public forum....
but with your membership you also get free downloads, and bonus free private messages (private being the operative word)

and all for a bargain price of 10 quid a year

Because when 2 people want to have a private discussion or arrange a meeting... swap phone numbers... swap addresses etc, posting such info in a public forum would not be such a good idea

and often a thread that 2 people are continuously debating over can be taken to pm for resolution without other coming in on the righteous bandwagon not that we've seen that sort of thing of course
