Just been looking for the VEL rates, can anyone confirm them?

Mind you they give us nowt. I was getting quite excited thinking the new scrappage scheme would knock £2 000 off a new car price.

Not quite, half of that has to come from the manufacturer!!!!!! so really thats the discount or haggling margin massively eroded befor you even get warmed up.

Found the rates, band K is the key for pre 06 but other poor sods are going to get screwed.
