Default What will you do with your £1,000?

It seems that the Bank of England is going to print £75bn and put it into circulation.

Roughly speaking, that's a little over a grand for each person in the UK. I'll be expecting the postie to shove a bundle of notes through the front door some time next week.

With with Lucy's wedge, that'll make £2k - enough to pay for next months Morocco trip and have a monkey left over.

What will you spend yours on?

my question is how are they going to put it into circulation. for us to spend

give it to the banks so we can borrow it ....... like any of us mortals can get credit now

its not like the banks need more help from us.

if they were serious they would put it into construction build some of those houses they keep saying we need to house all the rag heads and alike

that would boost the economy as everything feeds of the construction industry

as you say Ex, the banks have already had more than four times that effectively and they still aren't lending to anyone, so how is sticking £75Bn more down the toilet going to help?

Bat its something I was thinking about doing some time in the future.....my wife goes to Marrakech a lot and keeps trying to get me to fly for the weekend, but I reckon there are better ways! Where is the ferry crossing to Africa then and where are you heading generally? Any special preparations (I'm assuming you're going in your truck?)? PAUL

You beat me to it Si...... it looks like I'm not going to get that writeup finished before we head off on this years trip

I'll make a concerted effort to make sure this years trip is written up fully

Great write-up - looks like a real outing; bit worried about where The Redhead would plug her hair dryer in though - she can be painful that way! Food for thought though - thanks very much!
