welcome on board. similar motor to mine.
there is one thing to look out for and it is the oil pressure switch. on mine occasionally the warning light stays on. basically the self test sticks. i havent got round to putting a new one in and mine has been doing for 7 months on and off. if it stays on after turning the ignition on and no Engine Malfunction Light then you should be ok. (i have been but took me a few oil dips to check) run for 5 mins then stop engine wait a min and restart and it goes away that time. This is a high pressure warning and should only kick in after 2500 revs anyway. the low pressure one is when the Engine light comes on as well. then you are in trouble..... |

Hi NSV and welcome to the Nissan Home for Waifs & Strays. If you now own a Terrano you must be a raving nutter is all I can say. What were you thinking of when you decided against that perfectly good VW Golf???
Anyway I have to go; I'm busy putting a CB into my Terra... oh...dear...what have I done?? Last edited by lacroupade; 06-03-2009 at 15:04. Reason: I just love this little box, now I put stuff in it randomly! |
