Soon to be terrano owner in Sunny Eastbourne !
Hi,
My names kay,i get my terrano II 2.7td this week . My toyota estima is 18 years old and dying a slow death. To be practical my husband has found me a decent tow car as we like to go away in our old caravan at least twice a year, the old gal hasn't got the guts to pull any more. New car drives really well, makes my old car feel like a slug on salt ! Our mate will be dropping it off one evening this week and taking our old gal at the same time. Was a member of the estima forum as my old gal was an import,i found them invaluable for advice etc..hoping to find the same here. I admit, although i am a mechanic,i know absoloutly nothing about the terrano...but i'm making it my job to !! Hope i spend many happy years here !!!! Once i have my car i shall no doubt become a paid up member, well worth it... Kay |

Why thank you for the welcome.....
Wales- Eastbourne,Ringmer.....weather is the same...isn't it ? Just more sheep in Wales.... I'm sure i'll love it here and yes a female mechanic...but i now work in our local college ,i run and look after both MV workshops...do the red file (yawn),health & safety (double yawn) and i'm the app' first aider which isnt very exciting..usually students spraying brake cleaner in their eyes...doh ! I'm really excited, sad i know,i had a drive of my new motor on Sat morning and i couldn't believe how easy she was to drive light steering, accelerates like a fast petrol engine rather than a diesel. To top it all it's manual !!! Must remember to use that clutch pedal thingy.......yay !!! |

Settle down sweety , they are like army tanks fireing on one cylinder, with a broken track and a Turnip jammed up there exaust! but in saying that they can still tow a tesco trolley empty back to the rank to collect the £1.
