buggy
last week i went out on my buggy into town and noticed it was struggling to go up slight slopes, looked at battery meter and hovering on red line.
i had noticed a few times that it did not seem to hold as much charge even though it goes on charge after each use as recommended so decided to get new batteries for it. this is the 3ed set i have put on it as there life span is only about 2 years, looked on bay and wow have they gone up,i ordered a pair of 36amp hr ones paid and awaited, but no sold out so ordered up from another place and they duely came the next day. whats annoying is the cost of something so small and lasts so little compaired to a car battery. no space in buggy for bigger batteries so have to get them. the last set i had put on via a mobility shop when away with van at mablethorpe at a cost of 170,as they were struggling and i was still away for another 2 weeks, this pr cost me 113 so shop must make a lot on fitting them, ever 2 years. |
