Help for Briggie please

is anyone near Pete, (Briggie) he has a cooker problem and has had to turn the gas off at the meter so now no CH/HW he needs someone to disconnect the cooker via the bayonet connector, he cannot grip it, then he can turn his gas back on, Regards Rick

i think i am right saying that if you have the push and twist gas pipe fitted you do not need a gas safe chap to remove and fit cooker.
at least he is sorted now.

You are right but they can be difficult to disconnect if they are at the back of a cupboard and have been in place a long time.

Pete simply could not grip it, and yes that is the whole point of bayonet gas connectors, the householder can do it, Rick
