Left hand dial is oil pressure (not connected yet) right hand is boost pressure(that worked a treat until I noticed what sounded like an imp jingling tiny bells coming from it? Still works fine and beats the non working CD player every time)

I like the white console but its about as practical as a pair of white jeans on a night out especially as its my builders wagon. Shows the ketchup and coffee stains awfully!!

oh and the little pink Fiat Panda you can just about see is the Mrs's which requires a full time team to keep on the road. Everyone I know thinks its my hobby ha ha! as I spend nearly all my spare time under it.

You can buy Vinyl Dye it is brilliant stuff you don't have to spray it you can use a brush or even a small sponge. It does a perfect job - like when you dye clothing.

As you probably know most vinyl trim is a sort of light grey/blue colour when manufactured - then it is sprayed in the desired colour. Many years ago the firm I worked for in Derby dyed door panels for Vauxhall at Luton. At that time the product was supplied by Quadralene Chemicals in Derby. They don't manufacture in now though. Found this on e-bay.

I'm sorry I have to disagree here having used Vinyl Dye myself, it's not better than a bog standard tin of spray paint from Halfords, it still peels and scratches off just as easy. They claim you don't need to use any primer coats etc when using Vinyl Dye which kind of made me not so bothered about the slightly higher price per can.

I was going to do a write up with lots of pics as usual but I was so unimpressed that I didn't waste my time. I brought it to spray some cream upper interior trim pieces for my truck to match the lower black pieces. I remember giving it the thumbs up to someone initially either in person or on here? I retract that now!!!!

I think it was Humbrol that did a vinyl paint, I used it extensively on some of my early cars. The first time I tried it was on white headlining in my Opel Ascona, it was sound but tatty looking despite much cleaning so I decided to paint it black. I started with a brush on the pillars that were glued down and it came out quite well, even the brush marks disappeared so the next day I moved to the headlining. I whacked the paint on with a 50mm brush ending up high as a kite from the fumes! My heart sank after an hour when I looked inside to see the whole headlining sagging and wrinkled, the spirit had softened it. By morning though it was tight as a drum and a perfect finish.

Crap on some of the injection moulded plastics though.

Well done Banshee, yes the wheels are from the first Maverick I owned which was a 2.4 petrol. They have been on both the subsequent Mav/Terranos I owned.
Sadly its not a 4x4 panda, they didn't do them in pink. The pink ones were apparently a limited run of 250 made that have 'pink' written in white piping on the rear quarter. Only 4-5 left registered in the UK now.
The only other one I've seen is one that was fully restored for use at charity events.
I personally hate it but thats because I'm the one one who has to keep it running and its now at that age where all the faults are bloody awkward niggly buggers. Still I get to play with my stroboscopic timing light which I once thought I'd never use again!

oh and I used halfords celly paint on plastic primer for the console and dial surrounds. Only one minor issue in very hot weather the cup holder catches in the housing from the expansion.

The tyres are 30x9.5x15 not 31x9.5x15. I got confused as I was toying with 31x10.5x15 to begin with and looking at lifting it too but decided my need to get into all my local car parks outweighed the height advantage
