Better late than never
Hello everyone, sorry I didnt say hi earlier. Never buy a new Audi A3 or you will end up with two Terrano IIs! The Audi was a dog of a car so I got lots of £ change and a gleaming White 97 T2. Its been brilliant for nearly 4 years then apart from getting bit rusty it lost power (losts its white gleam after about a year too!). Trips,to garages -uhhuh needs new turbo - loadsamoney! Think its got to go. :-(( Days and days online searching and several dodgy descriptions then got a very very shiny red 2000 v low mileage T2 on ebay and the nice man told me all about MAFs. Soooo, several squirts with computer disc cleaner and a cotton bud and hey presto - white power arrives home . But, er, now, which one shall I drive today, red or white? Sounds good but as of this week, one has power steering leak (forum posts saved me that £300 bit of pipe) and one still needs xmemb welding and a washer bottle motor. Anyway hopefully soon I should have al least one fully working T2, then I can sell the other --Hmmm, or do I keep one for mud/snow and one for sunday best? Euk, bit girly that isnt it?
thanks to all TTx ps playing ping pong with insurance is more fun than a Wii. |

Hi Tess, welcome to the club ( I'm not saying you're IN the club, am I ? ) Don't tell Dadba where you're living in Scotland, or you could end up with a convoy of trucks outside the house, and loads of club members scrounging tea & biscuits , when they do their trip to the far North.
