Thumbs up Wow impressive selections of pictures.

Great shots what region of Austria were you in mainly?
I only know Klagenfurt as I was born there and moved to the UK permanently when I was 5 years old.

I have only been back twice as an adult. once in 2003 and the last time was 2014 I think.

That is about 170 miles north west of Klagenfurt by my quick calculation, like the snow!

I am sure I have mentioned it here before but my brother cycled from Allestree (Derbys) to Klagenfurt in 2014. He did a steady trip over almost 3 weeks solo. His wife flew out to join him after he reached his destination.

We didn't expect snow at all, didn't expect to to sit in the tiniest cafe in town either and get sitting around a table with the owner who we became friends with and a really nice guy that turned out to be the singer of the 90's hit "What Is Love", anyone heard of Haddaway?

Was sat with him and his "girlfriend" for 3 hours chatting about everything from Politics to Harley Davidsons, really really nice guy

Glad you're enjoying them lads, the holiday was ace, I've never considered returning to any of the places I've visited before apart from Iceland but this place I would happily return to next year without hesitation.
