Cheap ratchet straps from Screwfix
I collected a set of these today from Screwfix, you have to pre order for next day store collection, each has a breaking strain of just over a ton.
I got then to stop my mobility scooter going walkabout when in the car. They are on clearance, so first come first served. Might be of use to someone. Plastic handles, no cut fingers on sharp edges.. Rustic

Worth having in the car/truck anyway, I lost one of my ladder clamps for roof rack, quick rummage in the van and hey presto I was on my way home
