A big thank you
Well lads and lasses can I just thank for your very friendly welcome and advice you have given me including the knowledge to not spend my money on the wrong car and also made me very aware of how great nissan 4x4 trucks really are. I have looked at loads in the last 2 weeks but unfortunately only 1 came up to the standards you lot advised me to inherit, but I lost out on sale in end but never mind. However I may have committed the cardinal sin and bought a jeep cherokee 2.8 it is a good car and my mechanic agreed so I got it. I suppose I'll have to join a jeep owners club now, I hope they are as friendly and helpful as you guys. Cheers Mark

Well you've paid your membership so stay in touch, we have people that no longer have their trucks but have kept their membership on. We actually have a couple of members on here with jeeps so they may pop up to say hi.

I have a 2.7 CRD Jeep Grand Cherokee

Is it the V6 Mercedes designed engine if so I might be of help in the future as I work for a MB main dealer albeit now on a casual basis. We do have a page for other makes of vehicles that will over time no doubt grow as Terranos get longer in the tooth. |

Be nice to stay in touch, I simply couldn't find a terrano without holes or massive rust and rot even trucks described as excellent had soaking wet rear floors, so took a good jeep had one before but grand 4.0 petrol went like stink but drank petrol this diesel is better on fuel and has been cherished by former owners which ultimately is what we all look for and its getting quite rare to find a good 4x4 these days without a huge price tag.

Even the excellent ones were crap mate the terranos have cult following due to the towing and engine reliability, but simply couldn't find a one without the usual although swb trucks series better but I'm quite big so getting the little chap out the back would be a nightmare. Respect to you lads who have a good un though, the jeep will probs fk my head in with usual crisp electric gadgets that will break I'll just keep seat in normal position and never adjust my mirrors lol

It was very entertaining as you never knew what sort of mood it was in until you started driving. Went like stink tho'. When we first had it, I went to pick up a horse trailer load of haylage. On the way back I was tinkering with the new buttons etc., looked up and there was a vehicle in-front "pootling" along at 40mph. So I floored it and overtook in a few seconds, reached 60mph and looked in my mirror to pull back in only to remember I had 3ton of trailer and load behind me. Never felt a thing. Soooooo much torque! Loved it. Would like a 5.7 Hemi version, but have no spare funds. Hey-ho. |
