Cool Passed the mot today

The old terrano passed its mot today with a couple of minor advisories
Slight play in near side front wheel bearing and a bit of a in the ARB bushes.
Hours job in the morning to sort that out

Cheers fellas
Always a good feeling to get a new mot.
The tester commented that even though it's been used off road it's in good condition underneath and well maintained
I can use this ammo when the Mrs moans about me buying and fitting new parts

All because you look after her A lot can be said for that.

Nothing kills more than neglect.

That's so true. I used to be very blasé about my truck and actually liked the look of it all macho in mud. However, after a full rebuild I can't leave the under side covered in crud anymore. I have become a bit normal 😂

Nothing worse than leaving it caked in mud, gets in all the nooks and crannies, stays damp and starts to eat away at the metal

Funny thing was just as I pulled out of the test centre car park the n/s wing indicator bulb blew
Got spares in the glovebox so changed it there and then.

Going back to the subject of looking after your truck. I remember Elty's thread about replacing the boot floor. Having seen what happened in December when my wife had the accident it really pays to look after your truck and repair properly. I can't imagine what would of happened if we hadn't repaired the rot properly on ours. Keep it up elty you have a cracking truck their mate that will look after you should you ever need it.
