Welcome, there's a fella who pops up on here from time to time flogging oil. It'd be worth getting in touch with him.

Welcome aboard

Hope you like your taste of the forum, as you've seen plenty banter.

What's your Disco like? I think they look great but like all motors you hear a lot of bad stories about them. Wish we heard the good bits too but people don't talk about the good side of cars.

Hi Kim's-terrano

Haha it's a 90 the one built before they called them Defender's as mine is a 1988 model, the past owner swapped the engine over from a 2.5td to a Defender 200tdi but since then I have replaced that for a Disco 200tdi as the defender 200 was a bit tired

I was told the 200tdi was the best engine closely followed by the 300tdi, don't know how true it is but you have a little history of the 200. I like the sound of the TD5

Yeah they sound ok when they are right, had a disco 2 td5 while back but never again too expensive to repair when they go wrong

Welcome Mate

You'll get plenty banter here I'm sure, there are some strong views on Land Rovers

I personally love them and would love a 90' some day, shame I'll have to pay a premium now because of the cult following they have now
